About JOHN CURRENCE

John Currence is originally from Annapolis, Maryland, where he grew up surrounded by the water and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. A proud Navy veteran and former Merchant Marine deck officer, John brings discipline, integrity, and a strong sense of service to everything he does.

 

About 12 years ago, John and his wife Rebecca visited the beautiful Emerald Coast and immediately fell in love with the area’s stunning white-sand beaches, emerald waters, and welcoming community. They could envision raising a family here and in June 2025, they made that dream a reality by moving full-time to Hammock Bay in Freeport, Florida. John is most proud of his role as husband to Rebecca and father to their two wonderful daughters, Riley and Reagan.

 

With six years of full-time experience selling real estate including navigating the highly competitive and aggressive coastal market of Annapolis, Maryland, known for its desirable waterfront properties, strong demand, and fast-paced transactions, John has earned prestigious national recognition as a recipient of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices’ Honor Society and Leading Edge Society awards, honoring his consistent top-tier performance among agents nationwide.
