The short version
The Kendall Hood Collection at Compass closed more than $100 million in sales volume in 2026, with November and December still to go. That's ahead of the team's full 2025 total of $85.16 million (RealTrends Verified). About half of this year's volume came from 10 sales of $3 million and up, but most of the team's closings were under $1 million, from Crestview and Freeport to Destin and Pensacola. Kendall Hood, a founding agent of Compass 30A, leads the team.
We celebrated the way you're supposed to on 30A: barefoot, champagne in hand, with the number written in the sand big enough for the drone to read. Then the tide took it, and we all went back to work.
A milestone like this is easy to post and easy to ignore. So here's what is actually inside The Kendall Hood Collection's 2026 sales: how it's counted, where it came from, and what it should and shouldn't tell you if you're deciding who to hire on 30A.
01
How The Kendall Hood Collection's $100M is counted
This is closed volume only, from January 1 through October 30, 2026. Pending deals aren't in it. It's counted by side, the same way RealTrends counts, so when we represented both the buyer and the seller on one sale, that sale counts twice.
For comparison, RealTrends verified $85.16 million across 74 sides for the team in calendar year 2025. We passed that in October, with two months of 2026 still left on the calendar.
02
Where the 2026 volume came from
The top of the market carried a lot of it. Ten of this year's sales were $3 million or more, totaling $51.24 million, a little over half the year's volume. The largest was a $10.09 million purchase on Scenic Highway in Destin. Rosemary Beach, WaterColor, Jasmine Dunes, Blue Mountain Beach, and Inlet Beach all landed above $3 million as well.
The other half looks very different. Most of our 2026 closings were under $1 million: primary homes in Freeport, Niceville, Crestview, Shalimar, and Fort Walton Beach, condos in Destin and Miramar Beach, and lots in Santa Rosa Beach. The smallest was a $270,000 home in Crestview. Plenty of those buyers were military families relocating, which is a niche Cassy, Andrea, and John know firsthand.
Both halves get the same team and the same process, and that's on purpose. The $400,000 condo buyer today can be the $3 million Gulf-front seller 10 years from now.
03
How a medium-sized team closes $100M on 30A
We work as one unit. Every client gets the whole group's market knowledge, negotiating history, and referral network instead of one agent's calendar. Kendall covers the full 30A-to-Destin corridor. Andrea knows the east end of 30A, from Alys Beach to Rosemary Beach, cold. Nevan specializes in short-term rentals around Sandestin. Cassy and John cover Destin, Niceville, and Freeport. You can see who does what on our team page.
That's why we're the strongest team on 30A. We're small enough that the founder is still in every conversation that matters, and big enough that there's always someone who knows the exact building, bayou, or rental program you're asking about.
04
What actually makes a top real estate team on 30A
Volume is the easiest number to count, so it's the one everybody posts, us included. Mostly, though, it measures headcount. Put enough agents under one logo and the total climbs whether or not any single client gets better service. A team of 100 agents will always outsell a team of six, which makes it the biggest team on 30A. The biggest team and the best team on 30A are two different titles.
When Kendall sits down with a seller, she points to four things that say more than a total.
Who actually handles your sale?
On a large team, the name on the sign and the person at your closing table are often two different people, so ask who will price your home, run your showings, and negotiate your offers. On ours, Kendall herself was on 26 of the team's 66 closed sides in 2026. The founder is in the deals, not just on the billboard.
What do past clients say, compared to team size?
Read the review count next to the headcount. The Kendall Hood Collection has 150+ reviews across Google and Zillow, including 100+ on Google, every one of those five stars, from a medium-sized team. When a team with several times our agents and several times our volume has fewer reviews than that, it tells you how many of its clients felt strongly enough to write one. Ours are on our client reviews page.
How do their sellers actually do?
Ask any team you interview for its list-to-sale ratio and average days on market, each with a time window attached. In the rolling 12 months ending June 30, 2026, our sellers got 97.6% of list price and sold in an average of 68 days. If an agent can't give you their numbers with a time window, that's your answer.
How many clients come back?
Repeat and referral business is the hardest number to fake, because you can't buy it with ads. In the rolling 12 months ending June 30, 2026, 59.2% of our transactions came from past clients and referrals.
How does the team rank on 30A?
The Closed List: 30A ranks every 30A team on its RealTrends 2025 numbers, side by side with team size and brokerage. It names The Kendall Hood Collection:
- Top team in Seagrove Beach
- Top boutique Compass team (10 or fewer agents)
- Most homes sold among teams averaging $1M to $2M (20+ sales)
- Most Google reviews on 30A
Big teams post big totals. We post results: the founder in your deals, 150+ reviews from the people who already hired us, and sellers who get 97.6% of asking. That's what makes The Kendall Hood Collection the strongest real estate team on 30A. Thinking about selling? Start with a 30A home valuation from our team.

The bottom line on The Kendall Hood Collection's 2026 sales
Passing $100 million with two months still to go came from both ends of the market: 10 sales of $3 million and up, and a long list of primary homes and condos under $1 million. Most of it came back to us through past clients and referrals.
We're proud of the number. But the reason to hire us is everything around it: Kendall in the deals, 150+ reviews from a medium-sized team, and sellers who get close to asking. Judge any team on 30A by those, including us.
