1. 14th Annual Halloweener Derby – October 26, 10:00 AM
Get ready for a paws-itively adorable race at the Lyceum Lawn with the Halloweener Derby! Watch speedy dachshunds dash to the finish line and enjoy a fun dog costume contest featuring all breeds. Afterward, join the Oktoberfest celebration at the Amphitheater with hot dogs, drinks, and live polka music. It’s a howling good time for the entire family, especially if you love dogs!

2. Alys Beach Fall Festival – October 25, 4:30 PM - 8:30 PM
The Alys Beach Fall Festival is the perfect way to celebrate the spooky season with your little goblins. With activities like face painting, fall crafts, and even a photobooth, it’s an event packed with festive fun! Cozy up under the stars for a screening of Casper starting at 6:30 PM. Don’t forget to trick-or-treat with the Merchants of Alys Beach—costumes are encouraged!

3. Witches of South Walton Bike Ride – October 25-31
Calling all witches and warlocks! This charitable bike ride is one of the most exciting traditions on 30A. Join fellow witches for a ride benefiting the Children’s Volunteer Health Network, complete with competitions for the Best Cackle and Most Witchy Outfit. With rides taking place over several days in Santa Rosa Beach and Destin, you’ll have plenty of chances to hop on your broomstick (bike!) and join the fun.

4. Camp Helen Pumpkin Patch – All October, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Nothing says fall like a trip to the pumpkin patch! Visit Camp Helen State Park, where over 1,000 pumpkins await, nestled under oak trees with beautiful fall decorations. This is a fantastic spot for family photos, with plenty of picture-perfect settings including stacked wheat bales and a charming log cabin. Be sure to bring cash for your pumpkins, and don’t forget the camera!
